Football Manager doesn't have built in cheats like other games but there is other options. One option is using real time editors to change data as you play and really this is the only way you can cheat.

Simply download for instance FMRTE currently supporting the demo release and load your saved game.

Once you have loaded the save game go back and load up FMRTE and press load. Once all the data has been loaded you simply search for a team or player and alter their data, then press save and walla when you go back to the game its altered. So you could change your teams financies or reputation allowing you to buy the best players.
