This guide is relativly small as using FM Modifier is not really too difficult but its here for first time users.

What is FM Modifier?

FM Modifier is a real time editor for Football Manager made by Jpee, you can find more details about it here.

Using FM Modifier

First thing you must do is have your Football Manager game loaded obviously, then start up FM Modifier.

Now you must load the data into the real time editor. To do this simply click load. This will read the game data in your computers memory. You will know this is completed as if you check out our second screenshot, at the bottom right you will see the text '60934 datas read, search engine enabled'. This means all the data is there ready to be edited.

Now we can get down to the good stuff. I've chosen Arsenal as the team to editor in this example. All you have to do is type the club name in the search field and press enter. In the yellow listbox will appear all possible search results and to load the data simply click on the name of the correct item.

Now that we have selected Arsenal we can edit the clubs data. In this example I want to give them some more money. To do this where you see the value you want to change, simply left click it and the item will become editable. Type in your desired amount then click away from the item. Now this doesnt mean its saved yet, so you can edit more.

* Tip - Do not give your team too much as the game has its limits to how much you can give a team.

To save this, click on the save button at the bottom and return to your game. Once back in game just check the financies and you will see your new budget! Remember that you must go to another in game menu to activate the change as the game doesn't update in real time, it requires you to change the screen you're on before updating.
